The 3rd Biennial International Pediatric Oncology Congress is aimed to honor the lifelong achievements of late Professor Parvaneh Vossough as the pioneer of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology in Iran. The organizer of this congress, MAHAK Pediatric Cancer Treatment and Research Center (MPCTRC), is an NGO that has had the privilege of having Professor Parvaneh Vossough as its dean of medicine. The MPCTRC is a comprehensive institution which gives medical care to children suffering from all kinds of malignancies. These services are part of MAHAK’s core principles and are hence free of charge. We have organized this congress with participation and attendance of renowned international and national pediatric hematologists and oncologists.
In this congress, the most advanced modalities in diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and palliation will be discussed for common pediatric malignancies. This congress will be a scientific forum for our younger colleagues and students in order to be acquainted with novel issues in the field of Pediatric Oncology.
