مجله گیاه‌شناسی ایران ( (The Iranian Journal of Botany مجله‌ای علمی پژوهشی است که توسط موسسه تحقیقات جنگلها و مراتع کشور و به زبان انگلیسی (با خلاصه فارسی) و سالیانه در دو شماره منتشر می‌شود. این مجله نتایج پژوهش در زمینه رده‌بندی گیاهی و علوم وابسته به آن ( فلور ایران- جغرافیای گیاهی-سیستماتیک ملکولی- کموسیستماتیک- کاریولوژی -آناتومی- گرده شناسی و ....)، ارایه شده توسط پژوهشگران داخلی و خارجی را به چاپ می‌رساند. مجله گیاه‌شناسی ایران در پایگاه‌های معتبر علمی نظیر CABI, ISC, RICest ،ISI Master Journal List ،Scopus وGoogle Scholar نمایه شده است.

The Iranian Journal of Botany is published in English since ۱۹۷۶ and has been indexed as a Scientific-Research journal according to the no. ۳/۲۹۱۰/۱۱۵۲ letter from the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. This Journal is indexed in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC: www.isc.gov.ir) and Iran Journal Database which is the indexing system of Regional Information Center for Science and Technology. This Journal is listed on the ISI Journals and its abstracts are available on the CABI Publishing website at www.Cabi-Publishing.Org. The Iranian Journal of Botany is also indexed in the Scopus databases, and in ۲۰۲۱ it was assigned a Q۴ rank.
The Iranian Journal of Botany publishes original papers in the field of plant taxonomy and related subjects such as plant geography, cytology, morphology, anatomy, embryology and phytochemistry.
