Abstract:
The need to ensure that the buildings remain usable after a major earthquake, and also tominimize the loss of life and property, all the attention to performance resistant elements withhigh lateral stiffness in multi-story buildings against earthquakes is concentrated. In this paper, anonlinear finite element analysis 25 conncrete shear wall with compressive strength of conxrete35 to 100 MPa under monotonic lateral load , two-dimensional and three-dimensional nonlinearfinite element analysis of shear wall and lateral load-displacement curve for verificationwere compared with experimental result
