Abstract:

ackground: Orthodontic tooth movement is a complex process consist of epiphenomena of gene expression of periodontal ligament and next cells, resulting regular events inalveolar bone and periodontal ligament after orthodontic force induction. Orthodontic forces by orthodontic appliances causes modeling and remodeling of alveolar bone.Methods and materials: This review was performed in MedLine (PubMed), and Scopus databases in 2011-2018, by using orthodontic tooth movement, gingival crevicular fluidand cytokine key words. Results :In tooth movement during leveling different mediators such as IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-13, IL-17, IFN-γ, GM-CSF, MCP-1, MIP-1β and TNF-α will release ,that can be measured by gingival crevicular fluid(GCF). Gingival crevicular fluid is a unique biological exudate ,that can be used to study these mediators with acceptable sensitivity .Gingival crevicular fluid can be use fresh or frozen forms for analyzes in laboratory Collecting of CGF is repeatable in different steps of orthodontic treatments , and canprovided useful predictor in biological events in all course of treatment .In the present study we introduce the most common inflammatory cytokines in different interval oforthodontic treatment and methods of collecting CGF and some of the most important study in this field.Conclusion: The results of the papers show inflammatory cytokines increase during different level of orthodontic movements.
