Abstract:

Objectives: Avian Influenza is a zoonotic viral disease that every year the great economic losses tothe poultry industry. The disease with signs of respiratory, gastrointestinal, and neurologicalmortality associated with acute and sub-acute and are usually seen with a short period and themortality rate is very high.Materials & Methods: To study the effects of vitamin C on the immune response inchickens vaccinated against the flu, 200 broiler chicken a day old. Negatives in acompletely randomized design with three replications were divided into 4 groups (A total of 50experimental units). Groups A, B, C received vitamin C 0.5 kilo per ton, 1 kilo per ton, 2 kilos per ton and Group D (control) without adding vit C received food. The blood samples were taken at the 35 days and using HI test to determine antibody titerwas send to the laboratory.in this research the erroe was considered a<0.05 ( Software SPSS18.One Way Anowa-Tukey).Results: The results and statistical analysis this study indicate the effect of vitamin C onenhanced immune response compared to the control group.
