Interaction between traditional and modern architecture in the reconstruction of Bam

In Iran, modern architecture,is only applied superficially,so the differences between iranian and west culture and also rapid change of cultures, beliefs, modes and tastes of the modern era and lack of attention to indigenous architecture causes the failure of new architecture in iran.About the architecture of the city of Bam, homes should be a factor to recover the spirit of people of this city, reconstruction of bam was the only significant opportunity for interaction between iranian traditional architecture and modern architecture.In this study we compared the traditional residentialstructure with the modern city of Bam and the response rate of modern architecture to the needs of residents has been studied.
