Reaction of benzothiazole, isoquinoline and phenanthridine with dimethyl acethylenedicarboxylate in the presence of 4- hydroxycoumarine

Three-component reactions involving benzothiazole, isoquinoline and phenanthridine with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in the presence of 4-hydroxycoumarine are described. The reactions proceeded smoothly at room temperature without using any catalyst. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been characterized by the spectral studies
