Abstract:
Coronary perforation is a rare but serious complication of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with an estimated incidence of 0.5%. cardiac tamponade constitutes the most severe clinical consequence of a coronary perforation during PCI. The development of new technologies and techniques such as covered stents and embolization coils have allowed many perforations to be treated.
