Abstract:

There were some challenging issues in related to design network protocols with increasing of sensor network applications. One of them is energy efficiency and longevity in the network. Sensor nodes in terms of small size and low price can expanded, so cause sensor networks are been success. Since the sensor node with limited energy reserves are vast, so the network must operate with minimal energy overhead. Operational lifetime of sensor networks by eliminating the extra energy by the redundant nodes increases. Redundant nodes with the operation to feel repetitive and unnecessary energy consumption are additional. Thus the network operational lifetime are affected. This paper aims to increase network lifetime by using redundant nodes to identify and disable. For this purpose a new technique of redundancy check has been suggested that calculated using sensory areas overlap, redundancy cover gives node detection and with a determined phase of modes, to avoid coverage holes may be complete. Proposed technique with the NS2 simulator to simulate the behavior is evaluated. The results show that this technique the rate of 5 to 10 percent over existing techniques to identify nodes with overlapping duties will.
