Abstract:a parametric study is carried out on the gust loading factor GLF of along wind loads on tall buildigs. Multiple design parmeters as: building height, across and along wind ,basic wind speed, aspect ratio heigh to witdh critical damping raition, and exposure condition were concerned to assess their effect on the GLF according to the recmmended by NBCC 2005 code. background turbylene factor, size reduction facror,gust energy code was used to calculate the fundamental period of buildings.
