Abstract:

The study was conducted on 40 dogs with ages ranging from 1- 8 years in Iraq. The experiment lasted for eight continuous months. The results of the statistical analysis indicated a high thermal effect (P00.01) for the level of thermal stress in the physiological aspects of the dogs (body temperature, heart beat and respiratory speed) between the treatment of control (15 CO) and the heat stress (25, 35, 45 Co) The results suggest favor of the fourth group (45 C o). The average body temperature was 37.97, 37.85, 38.17, 40.38 m and heart beat 81.30, 81.20, 80.40, 97.00 pulse / minute and respiratory speed 19, 18.60, 19.40, 36 times / min for the four treatments respectively. The results showed a significant decrease in the mean number of red blood cells (RBC), concentration of hemoglobin (Hb) and volume of blood corpuscles (PCV) in the fourth treatment compared to the first three treatments, while this was met with a significant increase in the number of cells Blood White (WBC) in the last treatment for the first three transactions. From the other hand the average number of red blood cells showed 6.470, 6.910, 7.100, 4.650 × 106, and the number of white blood cells was 9.820, 10.560, 9.260, 10.730 × 103, 14.55, 14.66, 10.57 mg and 14.85, , 42.11, 33.05% for the four transactions, respectively. In terms of blood biochemical parameters, the results showed a significant decrease (P00.01) in the first three treatments compared with the fourth treatment in concentrations of vitamin C, IGg and ALT. In the other direction, the results showed a significant decrease in the total protein concentrations of blood, albumin, blood sugar, triglyceride and cholesterol in favor of the fourth treatment compared to the first three treatments. The concentration of vitamin C was 6.13, 6.42, 6.76, 8.91 mg and immunoglobulin 803.60, 823.40, 809.30, 964.00 g and ALT 633.60, 67.00, 65.30, 95.60 mg and AST 27.90, 31.80, 34.80, 43.80 mg and total blood protein 6.06, 6.08, 6.25, 4.67 g and albumin 3.75, 3.90, 4.01, 1.80 g and glucose glucose 80.80, 86.20, 91.00, 68.00 mg and triglycerides 60.70, 59.30, 59.50, 31.30 mg and cholesterol 139.00, 139.20, 146.20, 92.20 mg Respectively.
