Abstract:
In this paper the effect of tire shred mixture in three dimension (1, 2, 3) and numerous volume percentages with soil gradation by transparent tank in Kianshahr (Chaf) located in north of Iran has been tested in experimental scale. The purpose of the study is the effect of tire shreds and numerous volume percentage on engineering features of soil gradation in the region, considering the effect of the porosity changes and elastic process of soil. The effect of tire shred existence٫ also٫ in soil has been measured. For this purpose, a rigid strip shallow foundation was placed on the sample made with the soil and tire shreds were loaded centrally in quick tank considering the volume percentages, aspect ratios and random distribution of these residuals. Finally the effect of various volume percentages of tire shreds, aspect ratios and respective graphs were discussed by measuring the bearing capacity and average settlement of shallow foundation under loading.
