Abstract:

The plant E2F-RBR pathway is the most important control mechanism for dividing or stopping cell division. Variety of signaling molecules like phytohormones and sugars can affect the components of this pathway. In this regard, the expression of the mentioned genes was studied quantitatively under the treatment of sucrose and (BAP) as the cytokinin. Treatment with sucrose resulted in the maximum accumulation of E2Fa transcripts at 48 hours after subculturing. The expression of the RBR1 upregulated constantly until 72 hours after the subculture. At 48 hours the expression of RBR1 after treatment with BAP decreased and then elevated and the transcript levels of E2Fa increased and decreased at 72 hours.
