Abstract:

The success and progress are the goals of any individual and any organization. Individuals need to demonstrate to the workplaces that they can add value to the organization in the future. It seems this is not an easy function as only the best can bring out the best in individuals. Harari (1993) stated that teachers also have to nourish the student’s minds to be a great one. Thus, to produce quality individuals, we need quality teachers because they transfer the best knowledge in education. International commission on Education organization for Twenty-first century (UNESCO, 1996) defined that Education organization should contribute to every individual’s complete developmentmindand body, sensitivity, spirituality, and intelligence . As a result, the quality of being spiritually intelligent is essential for the teachers too. All of the teachers must have high spiritual intelligence, which will be the highest help to them to carry out their functions as teachers with the highest regards and as noble as possible. Moreover, job satisfaction has been an important factor for education and teachers. According to Mbua (2003) an attempt to improve performance in schools will never succeeded if teachers’ job satisfaction is ignored. To this goal, the present paper tries to investigate the role spiritual intelligence in job satisfaction among teachers
