Abstract:

Green and Biological synthetic methods for preparing of different nanoparticles (e.g., metal and metal oxide) with plant extracts have been suggested as a possible low cost and eco-friendly alternative to chemical and physical methods. In this work, nanoparticles were synthesized using a rapid and completely green biosynthetic method using aqueous Rosmarinus officinalis extract. For synthesis of these nanoparticles, aqueous solution of Fe3+ and Cu2+ ions were utilized. The produced nanoparticles were characterized for the studying of their structure and composition by XRD analyses and surface morphology were carried out by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The SEM analyses confirmed the size of particles are in the nano scale.
