Abstract:

Fading is a major problem in most of the wireless communication systems. Wireless adaptive networks are not exceptional, they face with the problems like noisy links and fading channels. In this paper, we consider the Nakagami fading effects on adaptive networks. Nakagami fading can model both Rayleigh and Rician fadings. We present the results for the different levels of the Nakagami fading effects on the diffusion networks separately and then compared the results for the effects of the Nakagami, Rayleigh and Rician fadings. We present that for the certain parameters of the Nakagami distribution, the results become the same as the Rayleigh and Rician fading conditions and the Nakagami fading can model them properly. Therefore, the Nakagami fading is a more complete distribution
