Abstract:

In this study, organic metal salts of aluminum-triacrylate (ALTA) and aluminum-trimethacrylate (ALTM)were identified in a two-step synthesis. Then this mixture as an Unsaturated Carboxylate was used in the styrenebutadiene rubber (SBR) latex. Compounds based on SBR with three reinforcement ALTA, ALTM and nanoclay were prepared under equal conditions in two methods of using magnet stirrer and ball mill and by changing the amount of reinforcement, and their rheological and morphological properties were studied. The work results showed that if the amount of ALTA and ALTM increased, Shear modulus and viscosity would have more increase than samples containing nanoclay. According to the improvement observed in rheological properties of samples containing Unsaturated Carboxylate, produced by ball mill, comparing to the nanoclay containing samples prepared in the same way, using this method to improve the distribution of filler particles is very effective and its effect is also obvious on the rheological properties.
