Abstract:

In order to study the soil and foliar application of manganese on yield and yield components of wheat, a factorial experiment was conducted in a randomized complete block design with 3 replications in a private greenhouse in Khorasan Razavi, Bardaskan city in 2009, Iran. The first factor consisted of 3 levels of manganese soil (0, 2 and 4 mg/kg soil), and the second factor was diluted with 0 and 2% solution per 1000 calat EDTA manganese. The results of this study showed that application of manganese significantly increased the studied traits compared to the control. The soil Application of manganese fertilizer significantly increased the plant height, spike length, tiller number, Reproductive Tiller Number, Reproductive Spikelet Number, Infertile Spikelet Number, seed yield, biological yield and 1000-seed weight, while the use of manganese as spraying increased Significantly, the traits mentioned were in part of the infertile spikelet number. Co-application of soil and foliar Mn significantly increased plant height and number of infertile spikelets at 5% level and spike length and grain yield at 1% level. In this experiment, there was a positive and significant correlation between the application of manganese and the yield and yield components of wheat, and according to the results, application of manganese as foliar and soil can be used to increase yield and yield components of wheat.
