Abstract:

Rosmarinic acid(RA) is known as a phenolic compound which is normally found in species of the Lamiaceae. The biological activities of rosmarinic acid such as antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant are vitally important.Phenylalanine and tyrosine are primarily amino acids to biosynthesis of rosmarinic acid starts.Tyrosine aminotransferase (TAT), converts tyrosine to p-hydroxyphenylpyruvatis, is the main enzyme on the pathway of production of rosmarinic acid. Some other researches were done for production of rosmarinic acid, producing hairy root, from shoot culture, and the treatment of elicitors. In this paper we use bioinformatics tools for demonstration of structural and functional relationships and for identify the stability of tyrosine aminotransferase enzyme in some species of Lamiaceae. Not onlythis study will help the scientists to take action for future study in this base, but it also provide researcher with fruitful information which use for extraction of rosmarinic acid from herbal plants specially Lamiaceae.
