Abstract:

In this article, using sharp frequency localized contourlet transform (SFLCT) we propose an imperceptible and robust image watermarking procedure. We apply SFLCT on bothwatermark and cover images and utilizing the advantage of different downsampling rates of the SFLCT, acceptable results of the watermarking requirements are obtained. Different downsampling rates of the SFLCT makes the scheme to choose watermark image size as large as possible. The simulation of the scheme is implemented and its robustness against various types of attacks is experimented. In comparison with some recently proposed schemes this new procedure shows high imperceptibility, capacity and these features make the scheme a suitable choice for the image processing applications.
