Abstract:

Organizational commitment is an important occupational and organizational attitude. Lack of organizational commitment of employees to their organization is one of the common problems in most public and private organizations and companies; so organizations can identify their employees organizational commitment, change the factors affecting it and in this way realize the organization s goal. The purpose of this research was to investigate the organizational commitment of employees and managers of the Tehran Department General of Islamic Culture and Guidance and its effective factors. It is applied research carried out by field descriptive method. The required information was collected by the library method and a researcher-construed questionnaire; it was analyzed by SPSS software. The results indicate that personality traits, job characteristics, structural characteristics, work experiences, job satisfaction, organizational justice, organizational climate, leadership style, organizational socialization, and organizational culture are among the factors affecting the organizational commitment of the employees and managers of Department General of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Tehran Province.
