Abstract:

follow the progressive procedure of fossil fuel resources reduction and the pollution caused by them, renewable energy resources find vital role to catching energy. Wind energy as a most achievable energy between natural resources. In this article different types of wind power plant systems will be reviewed briefly and then study this type of structure in detail based on the advantages of using Doubly Fed Induction Generator. The characteristics of this machine have been extracted and drawn at the motor/generator performance modes using the steady-state relations. Drawn features show the resemblance of this machine with the conventional synchronous machine and squirrel cage induction machine.
