Abstract:
In this study an MTI radar is designed to mitigate the sea clutter of a receiving signal and detect a moving target. Some states of sea clutter echoes are considered and the received signal by pulse Doppler monostatic radar analyzed. The receiver uses a PLL circuit to be synchronized with transmitter oscillator frequency. Then the signal is processed through a match filter and noise is cancelled by an adaptive three-pulse noise canceller. For best performance a staggered PRF radar is proposed to identify the blind speed problem and solve it. All results simulated using Matlab.
