Appendicular Mass

History: 57 year-old lady G2 P2 was presented with chronic pelvic pain and 4 cm persistentadnexal mass in her ultrasonography and CT-scan. She was menopause since 7 years ago.Her physical examinations show that she had a mobile adnexal mass.Imaging: Ultrasonography was done and showed a 5cm adnexal mass with no suspicious findings,and her tumor markers were in normal range.Surgery procedure: We employed laparoscopy, and saw simple cyst on the right ovaryand atrophic left ovary, and a 5cm global mass adhesive to the secum and appendix, inaddition to a regular cystic mass on the top of the appendix Due to menopause bilateralsalpingectomy and right oophorectomy was done for her. Right hemicolectomy andanastomose was done for her by the colorectal surgeon because of appendicular tumor.Her pathology indicated atropic ovary and carcinoid of appendicular Tip.Currently, she is in excellent conditions, and still under observation.
