Abstract:

Background and Aim : One of the groups that are vulnerable to health problems, are pregnant women andMidwives have close relationship with this group. Given that, there is a direct relationship between the rights and satisfaction , this study was conducted to determine the effect of education rights of pregnantwomen to midwives on satisfaction of their performance from the perspective of clients for labor.Methods : This study is quasi-experimental of two group, The study population was consisted of twogroups: 1- Midwives Practitioner in Imam Reza Hospital and 2- Pregnant women who had given vaginaldeliveryto help the midwife. A total of 331 pregnant women (176 Casepre-intervention in controlgroupand155 patientsin the intervention groupafter interventiontrainingformidwives) participated in thestudy by convenience samplingand about the respect to the Bill of Rights of pregnant women were polled.Also The midwives performance before and after intervention by the researcher with the Check listing isevaluated. Intervention were in the form of a two-day workshop for 13 midwives from Imam Reza hospitalthat were studied through census sampling method. Then follow up with phone calls and text messageswere performed two weeks. Data collection tools were designed by Researcher and included: 1- Check listof personnel performance evaluation and 2- pregnant women satisfaction questionnaire.data analysis wasperformed with software Spss 16.Results : The relationship between education, laborphasein theadmissionand residence, with satisfactionof thepregnant womenwas not statistically significant.(p<0/05) The average score ofmidwives thatdirectlyevaluatedwith thechecklistbefore intervention was18.92±7.01 and after theeducational intervention was33.46±5.65 and the difference was statistically significant (p<0/05). Butthe results ofpolledof pregnantwomenin the control groupbefore theintervention was 70.68±8.29, and in the experimental groupafter theinterventionwas 71.90±10.04, and the differencewas notstatistically significant.Conclusion : Patients rightsisdependent ondifferent, althoughthefindings ofthisstudyMidwives trainingasawayto increaseclient satisfaction, But obviouslyrespect the rights ofclients and consequently,increasesatisfaction, manymechanismsareneeded
