Abstract:In this paper, two novel single-layer elements are presented for designing x-band reflectarray antenna. The elements are capable of providing adjustment of the phase of reflection coefficients for converting a linearly polarized field of the feed into an outgoing circularly polarized field. The characteristics of the proposed elements are evaluated using ansoft HFSS software. For all proposed elements, almost linear phase curves with acceptable phase range are obtained.
