Abstract:

In second language teaching teachers decide how to teach, or he/she brings method of teaching in the classroom, and even in some cases it is the teacher who should select materialand content for teaching. Eichler and Erens (2015) believe that the teachers have their individual reasoning for their selection of content, method, evaluation system. The reasoningof teachers is reflected in the work of other scholars, such as, exploring teachers‟ beliefs andtheir development are important topics in themselves Lerman (2015). Or „Factors related to pedagogical beliefs of teachers and technology integration‟ Liu (2011). The field of teachers‟belief is a new area in Iran, and the investigation of beliefs of teachers might be a searchingof software of teachers as the main factors of process of teaching and learning. Study the teachers‟ belief is helpful to investigate and discover the process of conceptualization anddecision making by teachers. This study argue that inspecting of teachers‟ belief should be incontext and the culture of the teachers is very important factor in shaping and changing of beliefs. The other point is the real view of governments in shaping and directing the beliefs ofteachers. In all works about teachers‟ beliefs the place of governments or high authorities in determining beliefs‟ type and rate of their power are neglected as messy factors. They missed this factor and considered the teachers‟ belief as a matter which the teachers themselves canselect or accept them. In this study the role of government in selecting and empowering specific belief is explained. 60 teachers participated, and the instrument was interview. The results show that teaching is not summarized in only physical factors and instruments, and the type of cluster of belief and their sources can be determinant.
