Abstract:

Language teachers have always been concerned about the paucity of efficient methods of language instruction ineducation systems. In the field of English Language Teaching there have been arguments about the role of variousmethods and their effect, approaches and techniques in learning the language. Over the centuries, these methods andapproaches have been critically review in educational programmers one of the teaching method that teachers considereffective and use it is silent way recent approach in teaching English as foreign / second language and it has beenbrought under focus by many linguistics and researchers. This paper review critically this method and also explain howthis approach has made language learning more effective Finally the conclusion is drawn as per the review theadvantage and disadvantage of silent way method.
