Abstract:

Using renewable energies as a tool for climate improvement is one of the measures that has been taken in the world. Due to the sensitivity of small wind turbines to wind speed, especially in urban areas, identifying high potential points around high rise buildings is very important. Due to the wide scope of this section, selecting the right system for different locations, examining its feasibility, and designing and implementing these systems requires careful and accurate research. In this paper has been investigated the lift coefficient around 5 square cylinders in different space ratio (G/D=1, 2, 4) and in 3 different Reynolds numbers (2000, 7000, 15000). In this study, for each of the spacing ratio, 3 different Reynolds have been investigated and it should also be taken into account that simulations are examined in a 2-dimensional and steady.
