Abstract:
By developing construction science and new requirements of construction industry such as need to repair or repair structures, reinforce built structures and modern materials are provided to meet these needs. One of such materials is FRPs that their emergence created great evolution in construction industry. These materials are composite materials which composed of two reinforcing fibers and fibers that are connected each other by glue. FRP ingredients have elastic properties, they are very resistant and fragile. These fibers made of carbon, aramid, glass and vinylone so that each of them is divided in to subcategories with different function. These materials are produced ad used in different ways due to their unique physical and mechanical properties. In this research, results of testing 15 reinforced concrete beams by fibers, reinforced concrete beams traditionally and non-reinforced concrete beams which were tested by using two-headed joint support in flexural experiment were compared.
