Abstract:

Lack of process characterization data of the ores based on the granulometry, texture, mineralogy, physical, chemical properties merits and limitations of process. Large deposits of magnetite, hematite have been reported from different port of Iran including of Choghart area, Chadormalu, Gol-Gohar, etc. The detailed mineralogical and microscopic studies, sieve analysis, liberation studies Davis tube and particles counting method and chemical analysis. The result show that the most present minerals are Magnetite, Hematite, Quartz and Calcite are presentation order of abundance and liberation studies have shown tablel most of the magnetite particles are free at +120 mesh (+125 pm) when have been conformed by Davis tube. Based on the characterization studies carried out it can be predicated, that the magnetic separation would be the suitable method for separation of the magnetite iron ore Aligoodarz, assay in separator at -80 mesh 66.14% grade with recovery of 98.43% and at -1mm 64.67% grad with recovery of 88.37% respectively.
