Abstract:
The photocatalytic degradation of ceftriaxonein aqueous solution has been investigated using supported TiO(2) photocatalyst under UV light irradiation. The investigated photocatalyst was TiO(2) immobilized on glass plates by a heat attachment method. SEM images of the immobilized TiO(2) nanoparticles showed the good coating on the plates, after repeating the deposition procedure three times. The kinetic of photocatalytic removal of the ceftriaxone was found to follow a first-order rate law.
