Evaluation of Breast and cervical cancer screening between obstetrics and gynecologic and their residents in Iran

Introduction: Problem Screening in the medical world today has high important .Could be important factor for the survival of human diseases, including cancer. Easy availability of these methods, it is extraordinary results in decrease risk and decrease in cancer detection, the importance show of the screening tests. Breast cancer is the most common cancer and second cause of cancer deaths among women. About one-third of all cancers in women with breast cancer. Unfortunately, the cancer incidence in some countries is increasing sharply. Materials & Methods: This cross-sectional study design and the questionnaire consisted of closed questions. And fill out the questionnaire by the participants in the Congress of Gynecology and Surgery from different cities the University and companies. Then the numerical data coded and entered into the computer by SPSS statistical analysis software. Results: In this study, the married 92/5% performed of breast biopsies. In this study, the 6/5% the patients studied previous history of breast disease had been procedures diagnostic. In this study the majority of married individuals performed on Pap smear. But mainly it performed irregular. The results consistence with previous studies in which most patients in follow-up on Pap smear and had good awareness cancer prevention. Conclusion: Most specialists in the field of education and ecommendations regarding the key role that these methods are responsible for screening and performed irregular.
