Abstract:
Introduction: sexual dysfunction important aspect of quality of life in patients with breast cancer. The aim of this study the efficacy of cognitive-behavioral stress management therapy on sexual function in women with breast cancer. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with pretest - posttest control group and follow-up. For this purpose, 104 female patients with breast cancer center Hamadan MRI 1394, for a period of 6 months. Access sampling were selected. Data were collected by questionnaire on demographic characteristics, sexual function questionnaire was completed by patients before and at the end of meetings. Analysis of covariance was used to analyze the data. Results: In patients with breast cancer and genital treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy were more sexual dysfunction. The results showed significant differences between the experimental group improved in all aspects of sexual function with the control group (p <0/01). Follow-up after 2 months results in both groups confirmed. Conclusion: Cognitive-behavioral intervention can improve sexual function in all aspects .
