Abstract:

Breast cancer, is the most common cancer and the second cause of dead in women. Control the mental state of the patients and their families, requires a comprehensive understanding of their experiences and insights. The purpose of this research was to explain the structure and nature of the experiences of families affected by the disease. This study was conducted using qualitative and phenomenological approach. For data collection was used in-depth interviews. Participants were selected purposefully. For analyzing of the data was performed constant comparison. The resulted indicated that family experiences of patients can classify in 9 categories: guilt, feeling cut off from life, feeling tired, fatigue, medical malpractice, trust in God, denial of illness, lack of effective human interaction, a sense of helplessness in problem solving and feelings are reflected in stalemate. In this study, the experiences of those around people with breast cancer were analyzed with a deep look.According to two important components that extracted in this study (of the sense of the stalemate and tired of life), it is essential that patients with breast cancer and their families should be considered. It is recommended that for enhancing of hope in women who suffering of cancer breast, and for improving health care of them, psychotherapists and counselors use their families experiences.
