Abstract:

Introduction & Aim : breast cancer is diagnosed with stress and anxiety, it has an adverse effect on the quality of life of women. The present study aimed to evaluate the quality of life among women with breast cancer and its related factors. Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 106 breast cancer patients referring to Shahid Ramezanzadeh Radiotherapy Center of Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Yazd. EORTC and QLQ-BR23.V.3 questionnaires were used to collected information. multiple regression analysis was used to examine the factors associated with overall quality of life. Results: The average age of the participants was 51.70 ± 11.59. most of participant was married and housewives. The total quality of life score was 18.41 ± 64.77. In the C30 questionnaire Respectively in the functional and symptoms , social function (83.01 ± 18.96) and financial problems (31.76 ± 37.73) was highest scale and emotional functioning (59.11 ± 27.82) and diarrhea (13.74 ± 3.45) was lowest score and in BR23 questionnaire Respectively in the functional and symptoms social function (83.01 ± 18.96) and financial problems (31.76 ± 37.73) was highest and emotional functioning (59.11 ± 27.82) and diarrhea (13.74 ± 3.45) was lowest score. The results indicated that there is a statistically significant relationship between the quality of life and job (B:0.23, p:0.04) Conclusion : According to the results there is a relationship between quality of life and job. Recommended new studies are being carried out considering the support of the health promotion plan.
