Neonatal Brain Probabilistic Atlas: Creation of Template and Priors

Morphological studies of neonatal cerebral images based on adult or pediatricdata may not be appropriate due to developmental differences between them. ln thispaper, we will introduce a way to create neonatal template and prior maps for braintissues from a group of neonates whose head shape was symmetrical and with notpathological problem.To do this, we first normalize and segment neonatal images using Cincinnati pediatrictemplate, and then we recalculate normalization and segmentation using template andprior maps obtained in the previous step.
