Abstract:
Degradation of the polymeric matrix can be one of the twotypes: surface and bulk. In this paper we present a mathematical model fordrug delivery from viscoelastic polymers characterized by surface erosion.Consequently, the shrinking of the polymer, due to surface erosion, can beconsidered as a new model. The qualitative behavior of the model will beanalyzed numerically.
