Abstract:

Large cities such as Tehran, Mashhad and Ahwaz are always facing with water consumptionand lack of resources. Iran have water scarcity problem and water supply shortage presentgreater challenge and required serious action. Unsuitable usage of treated water, lack ofproper water consumption pattern in building, poor quality building pipes, and lack of waterrecycling systems couples the situation and lead to governments failure in proper watersupply in cities. In traditional plumbing system purified water, which impose high cost forgovernments, enter the building and used in an inefficient manner and rapidly inter insewerage system. Treating this water requires even more energy and investment. Sustainablecodes require builders to use new approaches to recycle the used water inside the building.This article discusses how to upgrade the existing system and water reuse in existingbuildings. Then to introduce new systems for water reuse and urban household consumptionand its benefits
