Abstract:

Culture with the correct utilization of material life and spiritual activities that depends on the correct way of thinking and feelings, has helped humans in his life, therefore this is also important and be considered according to the architecture based on cultural concepts. The aim of this research is exploring the cultural influences in Islamic art and architecture and its role in the construction of buildings and effectiveness of this approach in architecture caravanserais by concentrated in historical caravansary of sadosaltane as case study.This qualitative research study by the descriptive and analytical and data collection method through literature review, documentary research and field work has been done. The results of the study indicate that culture is very important and valuable role. In the formation, physical and architectural structure and this role is also clearly seen in the caravansary.
