Abstract:

Different parameters have taken into consideration in order to optimize the buildings, such as increased life expectancy and quality of materials, reducing consumable materials costs, as well as the use of materials appropriate to the type of construction (the choice of the appropriate method of construction). By understanding the performance and results of dynamic analysis of regular concrete structures in plan under standard loads, in accordance with the longitudinal standards, an appropriate level of quality can be achieved which increases the efficiency and quality of construction. Determining optimal dimensions for structural design based on design criteria, the volume changes in materials used based on changes in height, volume and more are considered as issues that are presented and investigated in this study, in order to optimize the structure and choose details on the basis of value and volume of materials and approach study considering the procedural rules. In this study, a new approach is introduced in the design of structures where the base of design is to achieve optimal seismic risk. Structures that are designed generally based on regulations, but provide life safety for building occupants, but necessarily, damages imposed on them after the earthquake is not acceptable from public view. The approach proposed in this study is able to consider the seismic damage in structural seismic design. Seismic damages using the concept of life cycle cost have become the financial value equivalent at the time and can be compared with the costs which must be spent for construction of the building. Then, using an optimization process, the final plan to be determined in a way that total cost spent for the building will be minimized.
