Abstract:

Advanced informatics and communicative technologies have important share in road safety and the authoritative advanced systems in safety can provide more chance to road users to avoid of theaccidents or escape it. The road safety is improved with developing and improvement of quality oftraffic services in Society and rapid development of ITS in transportation. To optimized utilizationof ITS, it is necessary to sort of the intelligent transportation systems be defined according to logicalrelations in the systems and Considering the needs of Society and observance of the standards oftransportation systems. The basic infrastructure that needed for industrial development and increasing of social welfare for each country is the flow and safety traffic in that country. Today theproblems of transportation such as: congestions, accidents, environmental pollutions Etc. led toproviding of safe and efficient transportation is one of the most important Issues in developed and developing countries.The aim of this study is reduction of traffic nodes in Kassaei highway in Tabriz when occurrenceincident, intelligent information system has been introduced. Using this system at two ends of thishighway, passengers can choose another route to reach their destinations when occurrence incidentat the point of the highway before arriving that point to avoid of creation and developing of traffic nodes in that point.
