Public spaces are regarded as democratic because everybody may use them. Different age ranges tend to make use public spaces at different times of the day and for different reasons. Issues kinked to people and public spaces have already been the topic of ongoing public debate for several years. People generally use public space as a meeting ground where they are able to socialize with friends, meet new people, work and take part in leisure activities. There is general agreement in the environmental literature that there surely is a powerful reciprocal relationship between people, their social and physical environments. Therefore, this research will examine the physical and social effective elements in public area spaces, that may attract and satisfy visitors to being there and how these kind of places influence their activities in a public environment such as pocket parks. The study method is founded on a qualitative and quantitative framework. Nima, Telar and Seyed Mahaleh Parks in Qaemshahr have already been chosen as the research areas. The research has carried out counting on semi-structured interview and informal observation. The aim of this study is to find out the connection between social and physical features of the pocket park as a public space with the people’s activities. The outcomes of this research showed that positive correlation was established between satisfaction with the park's attributes and people activities. It has been termed that the most relevant variables in the context of aspects in public places space are the aesthetic elements, social interaction and sense of safety and comfort under the category of visual aspect and the accessibility, entertainment and sport facilities, lighting, seating and surfacing quality underneath the group of physical aspects.
