Abstract:4-nitro-N-2-aminomethylepyridine-1,8-naphthalimide was prepared by imidationreaction from 4-nitro-1,8-naphthalic anhydride and 2-aminomethylpyridine in good yield. The chemical structure of product was determined by using of standard spectroscopic methods such as FTIR and DSC.
