Abstract:

Imatinib, sold under the brand names Gleevec among others, is an anticancer drug that prevents the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Imatinib is used to treat certain types of leukemia, bone marrow disorders and skin cancer, or certain tumors of the stomach and digestive tract. Imatinib interferes with the growth of some cancer cells. Nanoparticles of natural cyclodextrins as host increase and improve the Solubility of these drugs as guests by forming the inclusion complex. In this study, a method for preparing the inclusion complexes of imatinib (IMA) with beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and its structure is described. Inclusion complexes were prepared by solubilisation. Their features were studied using spectroscopic methods Uv-Vis and FTIR. For determination ratio stoichiometry was used methods Job were shown 1;1 the number stoichiometry for the reaction inclusion complex of imatinib drug with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD).The stability constant K formation the inclusion complex of imatinib drug with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) was calculated by using a modified Benesi-Hildebrand equation. For study of applied the antioxidant of the inclusion complexes imatinib drug with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) was compared kinetic the scavenging of stable radical 2,2՜-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH˙) by imatinib drug, imatinib /β-CD inclusion complex. The results obtained indicated stability formation the inclusion complex with having same ratio for the guest and the host and antioxidant activity its. In the next of the research was studied another nanocavity and cyclodextrins with other anticancer drugs, properties and applications its by spectroscopy
