Abstract:

Drug design is a creative process to find new drugs. It contains designing molecules in which are parallel in structure and charge with their target as a biomolecule in the body. Due to economical concerns as one of the valuable factors of drug designing compared with laboratory tests, numerous compounds are checked in software and just are entered into laboratory tests unless the acceptable computational results were obtained. On the other hand, some drugs such as sibutramine have severe adverse effect thus finding safer replacements are valuable. Sibutramine is an effective anti appetite drug that was produced in ۱۹۸۸. It controls weight by reducing appetite. However, due to high adverseeffects such as heart attack and stroke, it was withdrawn from the market in many countries since ۲۰۱۰. Therefore the need to design new drug candidates for sibutramine as safer alternatives is a pioneer. Herein some pharmacological properties of sibutramine derivatives are calculated and the results are investigated.
