Abstract:Metal Organic frameworks are a group of coordination polymers that extend in three dimensions and are made from metal connection to the organic linker . high porosity and high surface area are their attractive property. MOFs have many and varied applications to their special structures. Applications such as sensors for the detection and absorption of environmental pollutants , use as catalysts in the various reactions , applications in the absorption and storage of gases.Here a MOFs based on the isoniazotino hydrazide ligand was prepared and used as a catalyst in the Knoevenagel condensation process. which ethanol as solvent and one hour time with a conversion efficiency of 99.99% facilitated this reaction. In other solvents the reaction yield was very low. Other benzaldehyde derivatives were also used, which are summarized in the table below.
