Abstract:

Due to problems of increased pollution of cement and its negative impact on the environment and the high world price of this strategic material that increases the final cost of the concrete, there is always a lot of effort to achieve high structural strength lightweight concrete with the inexpensive materials that are replaced by one part of cement to the environment in order to achieve sustainable development. Therefore, 200 Cylindrical concrete samples were considered in 30 * 15 , 20 sizes mix designs, including Mel concretes containing powder (limestone powder with a high percentage of calcium carbonate) with different mixing ratios. The results of this study are obtained by applying the tests on samples taken within 7 days, 28 and 90 days showed that the use of masonry Mel powder by 17 percent by weight of cement, decreases specific weight and increase compressive strength and the strength of the concrete with a silica fume 50 percent and 30 percent increase in the absence of micro silica
