Abstract:

Technology nowadays plays an important role in the development of language learning materials, both as a tool in support of their creation and as a means of preparing content. Moreover , technology is also applied to support the individual’s language learning process and to increase language learning opportunities outside the classroom (Reinders & White, 2010). In this study, I am going to understand how the use of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) and the internet technology might influence TESOL materials development. This paper aims to find out some possibilities and opportunities provided by CALL and the Internet, focusing on the World Wide Web (WWW) as credible ways to access up-to-date and authentic language resources and materials for language instructors and learners of a foreign language. It is explained that CALL and internet can enhance the quality of material development.
