Abstract:
NOWADAYS, solar energy is one of the main dispersed energy sources which have attracted huge investments in the entire world. However, due to the nature of solar energy and the structure of photovoltaic cells, generally these cells are not satisfactory productivity. Often times, to compensate this defect, some researchers use the methods based on Sun tracking systems or use other methods such as increasing cross-sectional area in solar cells. But there are many applications that mentioned methods, could not answer the needs. So, structural improvements in photovoltaic cells, is very important, especially for some applications that we cannot follow the position of sun or not increase the area of solar cells, the conditions that we need more compact and small dimensional devices. Indubitable in these cases we most use solar cells with high efficiency. Accordingly, in this study, to response this problem and improve the structure of photovoltaic cells, silver and zinc nanoparticles have been used. The results show that the use of this structure can improve the right amount efficiency solar cells
